Cornerstone Innovation was formed in 2021 by siblings, Mark Schaeffer and Sunny Cessna, with the purpose of taking innovative ideas and developing them into solutions that transform processes, improve safety, create efficiencies and reduce errors.
Cornerstone Innovation’s first product to market is AIDA – Artificial Intelligence Drug Assistant. AIDA enables medical providers to easily create medication labels, verify drug expiration dates, record lot numbers, manage drug recalls and so much more.
Cornerstone Innovation is bursting with ideas and will be bringing other revolutionary products to market in the next decade.
Mark is an engineer with over 30 years of experience in the management, design, manufacture, sales and service of new products.

New innovations are necessary to reduce this burden and allow our medical providers to focus on their patient’s care.”
Mark has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.B.A. in Finance from Aston University in Birmingham, UK.
Sunny is an entrepreneur with nearly 25 years experience in sales and marketing. The last 12 years she has been CEO of Paceline Anesthesia in Seattle, WA. Sunny is looking forward to branching out of medical services and into product development and marketing of medical solutions.

Sunny graduated from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA with a masters in business administration.
